Treatment - Myofascial Release Therapy

Janet Travell MD was a pioneer of research and work with Myofascial pain syndrome. Myofascial Therapy is a specific technique, which works to bring differing degrees of relief from pain by manipulating the connective tissue which surrounds the muscle fibres, bringing it back into its natural alignment. It can be used to treat complex and chronic conditions, such as Fibromyalgia, and ME. Due to the nature of the treatment it can also be useful in treating ongoing pain from accident, injury or trauma of an emotional kind.
