Symptom - Knee problems and treatments that can help

Knee pain and knee problems can be as a result of arthritic conditions, but problems in the knee can occur in runners, who develop overtight tendons in the outer thigh and problems in in the external rotating hip muscles can translate through, creating what feels like problems in the knee joint. Regardless of whether your diagnoses is arthritis or otherwise, freeing up the knee joint area could be as easy as releasing the structures which surround the joint.

The structures around the knees can be released using trigger point therapy, to address any specific pain points responsible for creating restrictions within the joint. This enables identification of referred pain patterns, and gives clues as to the origins and possible root causes of the issue. Having released actual trigger points, myofascial release therapy can then be used to free up the muscle fibres around the joint and elongate them. The pain referral pattern can be addressed, while the tissues over all are permitted to re-establish a natural alignment more conducive to free flow of fluids, nerve messages and chi flow.
